what can i use

ok i know im asking a towing question but its about power and performance. As you can see in my thread i dont have much on the truck yet but i would like to get a programer before i drive down to GA in about a month and ill be towing 22800lbs. Im not looking for anything that will burn the rubber off of my tires b/c i cant afford to replace them im looking for some extra towing power. anything come to yalls mind i could really use the input. thanks alot in advance

Quadzilla XZT. Cheap (check the classifieds here) and just about perfect for towing.

Please, whatever you do I beg you to install a pyrometer. There are some pretty good stretches of long hills down in that country and 22,800 aint nuthing to smirk at.

Whether you want just a single pyro gauge or something inexpensive like the Recon or something fancy like our Commander please, please, please put an egt gauge on that thing. I hope it is the biggest waste of money you feel you have ever spent but, in the event you get hot going up a hill you can at least know that you are not going to melt it down!

If you end up with our products I also want you to know that if you use the kit part# there is an additional discount over buying them seperately. This goes on our Commander and our Recon and the discount is just applied to the retail cost. Your dealer will be able to give you the actual selling price.

My $.02

I'm sure the quad products are great,.. haven't tried 'em but I tow regularly 10k skid loader. The SMARTY is the best towing loader/box I have used for towing, and I've tried most. In fact I mess with a lot of products and I will unhook or remove a programmer when I tow just to use the SMARTY. I have found it tows best (coolest) NOT being stacked.

Admittedly I don't live or drive in the major mountainous regions so perhaps so who do would chime in.
