I have 4500 km's on my 04's speedo to date and I can smell the diff lube scent coming from the front axle vent tube outlet on the drivers side. Has any one else had this issue ,and should I be worried? Looked for leaks and can't find any. Never smelled this on my 99 or 94. ???

Hmmm......Well, it's a different axle than what you're accustomed to so maybe it has different characteristics. Have you felt the diff cover when you smell the odor? To me, it would indicate it's running hot and pushing the internal air out the vent. I've been working on my 02 lately, and after running 65 km it's barely luke warm. It's difficult to miss that odor though. Man, that stuff stinks!
