Can Opie bypass get air pocket?

Can Opie bypass get air pocket?

Just wondering if it's possible, because i don't see much of a temp change.How can you tell if it's even working?

You won't see much, I did have to blead mine on the initial install before the valve and after to get all the air out. If it did have air your temps would be higher, mine were.

temps are normal. when you bleed it, did you just disconnect back fitting on bypass?

is the hose coming out of the valve hot?

Yes, just loosened it up until antifreeze came out while running, then tightened.

Did bleeding it fix the problem. Getting the air pocket out of my truck was a pain until I finally did this. Problem solved.
