Can my Smarty S-03 read DTC codes on the wife' Blazer?
I am curious if it is o.k to hook it up to the OBD-II port? I know it won't explain them but thought it might read them.......her Check Engine Light is on.
Thanks!

I thought ODB-II was a communications spec and that any reader that talked ODB-II could read from any vehicle that conformed to that spec. For example, Macs and PCs are completely different computers, but they both talk TCP/IP.

I would say no. if this was a Perk I think that it would have been listed on the Smarty site and explanned. but all you have to due is plug it and try. you wont hurt your smarty. it will give you a error message if it doesn't
