Can I Fit 35s w/leveling kit??

Ok, i have a leveling kit in the front. The wheels i have are Helo Maxx 8s black 17x10. I'm wanting a good all terrain tire because i do alot of highway driving as opposed to little off road driving. I also tow a little but not much. I was wanting to step up to 35s to get my rpms down a little. Can I fit 35s? If so, what tire should I get?

Make sure you get enough backspacing/offset or they will rub. My ProComp A/Ts rub at the outer rear of the fenders on 17" Moto Metals when turned nearly to lock and hitting a bump. More backspacing to bring the wheels inboard would do two things, prevent the rub, and keep from throwing road goop all over the sides of the truck. I just can't see what people like about tires sticking well outside the fender.

I ran the BFGs 315s on stock rims with a 2 inch spacer without any issues.

the wheels i have are 17x9. just made sure. and the backspacing is only 4.53. i got a great deal on them and couldn't pass them up. i'm looking at 305/70/17 nitto terra grapplers and they measure 34x12.50. will they work?

For no rubbing issues, try to get as close to 6" backspacing as possible (I have 5 5/8") and have a positive offset value (mine is +14mm).

You'd better mount one up and try it. I'd be reluctant to buy a full set of hard-to-return tires otherwise. Then again, it may be the wheels you unload. Consider as well whether you want the tread rolling outside the fenders throwing that goop around. Notwithstanding the $400 cost of Bushwacker fender extensions, they take up some of that valuable tire/fender clearance you may not have.
