What can I do to lower egt's
I just got back from taking a ride and off a light I got on it and within 400ft with od off she was in high gear and the egts were 1450 and still going. what can I do to lower these. I have to assume that its because of drive pressure. I have read some about porting the wasegate but cant seem to find much info on it. Would that help or it my oly real option twins. Thanks for the help.

Try some smaller injectors and a bigger turbine side. That PS64/65 is most likely your problem.
I'd be better off going smaller on the compressor and larger on the turbine-- like a 62/71 to replace the 64/65.

I also think a 62/71/14 would be better, but honestly, that isnt all that hot. Mine pegs 1500* by 60mph and holds it until i let out. Im not sure how high it actually gets, but i would imagine 1600-1700*.
Pretty much, these things will make some heat if you have much power. Just have to learn to not worry about it. High EGT's wont hurt anything for a short amount of time. Towing is when you dont want to hold them there.

Pushing 500+ HP out of an engine designed for 235Hp will create a lot of heat. Once again, 1450 is not that hot. You can't run sustained EGT's that high but a quick blast for 5-10 seconds is nothing.
I've hit 1800+ at the end of the 1/4 mile. Motor seems to run better after runs like that, it burns all the carbon buildup. I'll bet i'd see engine failure if the 1/4 race became a 1/2 mile race though....
Once coolant temp starts to rise, I start to get serious about lifting to cut back fueling.
