Calling a mag hytec rear diff user!!!

Can anyone with a 4x4 3500 preferably an '06 tell me if there is room for a 35" spare on an H2 rim when the mag hytec rear diff is installed. Really would like to get it ordered ASAP if it will work! If anyone could at least measure to see how much room there is with a standard spare it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The diff cover won't be a problem at all. Where you'll have a problem is towards the back of the truck. From the center of the spare tire mount.... I show 19" to the back of the bumper.

The other side where the diff cover is.... you'll have plenty of room.

I just went out and measured on my truck you should have plenty of room. From the center of my 17" rim to the outside of the 315 is 16-3/4 mind you I have about 15% tread left. So you should be good.. I didn't measure to the rear so I can go do that..

I just installed the mag hytec on my stock '06 4x4 2500 and had to loosen the spare and make sure it was all the way back towards the rear of the truck. The tread was barley rubbing the cover when the truck was under load like towing my fifth wheel. Its fine now. Good luck.

It's close with a load on but it does fit. I don't have a camera so I can't do a pic for you. I was concerned too, but measured it first, keep the tire o the rear, just makes it between the frame rails too.

Yup a 35" spare will fit with the Mag cover as long as you pull it to the rear..........untill you add 3"piggy back shocks.

rear anti sway bar

Has anyone installed a rear anti sway bar on a Ram 2500 with 11.5 inch axle AND a Mag hytec diff cover? Many people have told me my truck will handle better while towing my fiver if I install a rear sway bar. However, I have the Mag cover and wonder about clearances. THANKS!
