Open the bleeder 1st then try a pry bar to move piston , if that does not do it my guess is that the piston went out too far and got cocked to one side , need to straighten out paralle with cylinder to go back in .

you can manually push the piston in by prying but after pushing brakes back down it is tight again. it gets hot because of constant pressure being aplied from caliper.

What has happened to others is that the flexible rubber brake line will collapse inside. Once this happens the collapsed hose will not allow the fluid to return and allow the caliper to release. The blockage acts like a "check valve" and keeps the caliper locked. The only fix is to replace the rubber flex lines. Check it out - it might be your problem.

Replace flex hose caliper and check pads to see if they are heat cracked. Probably replace them too. Check roater for warpage. And also dont drive it much further like it is. Actually calipers are fairly cheap for a rebuild. I bought two rebuilts from NAPA for $20.00 each for the old 92......

Yeah, I picked up a rebuilt caliper for about $30 for my truck. I thought it'd be spendier than that. Depending on how your rubber lines look, I'd look into getting a new set anyway. My driver side rubber line bursted 2 years ago, and the other side followed about 3 months later. If the lines don't fix it you should be able to throw a new caliper on and be good to go. Either way you look at it it's money well spent. It doesn't pay to go cheap on brakes Also, if your rotors pulsate when you apply the brakes after you get it back together you'll have to get them turned. They could have warped from the heat. Good Luck!

I replaced my lines with kevlar/steel braid from EGR. Also put in the calipers he sells, they are blue printed to prevent a cocked pad from hanging up. Once the kevlar's are in no more worry about line breakdown or balooning at pressure!

Raybestos rebuilt calipers
I put Raybestos PG rebuilt calipers in mine for $43.99 apiece. Came out real nice. San Felipe Bob on the "other" site sells some caliper boots which eliminate further caliper pin contamination. About $20.00 delivered.

Keep the pins lubed!
I know I sound like a broken record.
If you keep the Caliper pins well lubed it will solve alot of your problems with the front brakes.
The brake hoses are also an issue.
