I am reading through the treads. I am kind of lost sorry. My a/c blows all the time. I hit the button and the a/c is still on. I can hear the clutch engauge and disengauge. Also the a/c only blos on the face selection. No deforst or feet. I am looking through the fourms for smae probs, and what to look for. How do I check the Blend door things and what other things should I be checking?? Thanks

I don't know if you are having exactly the same problem as mine or not. After I have been running my a/c and I get where im going, I almost always turn OFF my a/c at the fan control ****, along with my radio, set my parking brake, etc. etc. before getting out of my truck. Well lately after I turn the control **** off, I notice that the fan goes off but the a/c compressor lighted button (has a pic of a snowflake on it) will sometimes stay on and the a/c compressor will engage and disengage etc. like my a/c is still on. Then if I turn my blower back on, my blower will not blow unless I tap on my blower motor under the dash on the passenger side. Then it will work fine again, start blowing cold air again if it is turned on, and then I can shut it off and the compressor button light will go off as normal again. Any ideas why?

I don't want to take my truck to a dealer and my 3/36 warranty is gone anyway.
