A/C not working right...

Ok, so my A/C is blowing cold air, but its not more then a few degrees colder then the outside air, also it tends to get marginally colder as time goes on, but it needs a lot of time and its not that much colder-my first thought was to recharge it, so I bought one of those do-it-yourself cans with a guage, but when I hooked it up the guage told me that it was in fact full (it would go to the top of the full range, then drop to the bottom of the full range, and repeat).
Any ideas on what could be causing it?

I would reclaim, evac, and recharge it to spec, plus add a little dye for further diagnosis......it's good to be a dealer tech!!

Is the compressor cycling often? Often would be on then off in 5 seconds or less. It should run longer when the ambient temperature is higher.
If not, you may have an air flow problem across the condensor. Does it get colder when riding down the road? If so, this could mean your fan clutch is not operating properly.

PM me and let me know what happened with the other repairs.

Sorry, finally getting around to responding here...anyways, my compressor is cycling every 3 seconds or so, so something is obviously wrong-but any idea what?

Sounds like it's low on refrigerant.
