A/C compressror locked up
My A/C was just not as cold as it used to be on my 96 2500 so stopped at Autozone and picked up a can of R134A with stop leak, I put it in but did not seem to help. I went to Kragan and told them the problime I was having, They told me I should add a can of oil for the "o" rings in the compressor. I did that and with in 3 minutes the clutch on the compressor would ingage but only turn 1/4 turn. After a short time it quit al togeather. How do I relieve the pressure in the system. I'm hopeing it's just overcharged. Can you help.. Thank

I'm afraid its toast. Grab the very front-mose part of the clutch(not running of course) and see if you can turn it by hand or with a socket on the bolt in the middle. If not or is not smooth its a goner.
