A/C Clutch not working
I went to use my air a/c and no cool air, looked under the hood and the clutch does not engage at all. I had low coolant before this happened and the clutch would engage for a few seconds and stop over and over, took it to the garage and filled it with dye and coolant and it worked for about 3 weeks and now here I am no clutch at all. Trying to save a few dollars after spending $200 already with no luck. Do you guys have any ideas?

Just a plain ole guy
Most likely, you'll have a leak in the evaporator coil. it's the one under the dash. If you can replace it and the dryer/accumuator, and recharge the system yourself, like I just did. It'll run you about $300 in parts. It will be about $600 to $800 to have a shop do it. Add in replacing the heater core and heater hoses while your in there. It will eventually leak to and you'll have to remove the evap coil to replace it, so you might as well do it now. With that, it'll run about $700 to $900 at a shop.
