Bygoing to mountpass filter location

dont see why not. Pretty good spot to hide it, but id put a valve at the engine. If you ever hit a deer etc and it tears an oil line off you could be stranded if you cant just close the lines off.

Alternate mount location for bypass
I just did this install on my truck (with lots of help from the good folks here). It's just one of many options. I have detailed photos, the drawings for the bracket and the hardware list, which is minimal, if you are interested. It is also very easy to run the return line to Amsoil's billet oil fill cap as well. If you increase the height of the bracket a smidge, you can run the 110 bypass filter. I run the 100 with plenty of room to spare. It just seems safer than running it up under a bumper, wheel well or frame rail to me, if you have the space in the engine bay.

Hate to be a smart-**** but did you read the installation manual?
It says the "preferred" mounting orientation is within 40 degrees of vertical. Between 40 and 70 degrees is considered a "good" angle and between 70 and 90 (horizontal) is "acceptable".

Nope. Missed that one. I can angle the bracket over a bit and be within specs. And thanks. All information is good information, especially when I need correcting.
