Unhappy Bye Guys Sold the Phat Girl

(Moderator I put this here because I posted most in 3rd gen H-performance)

Well guys hated to do it and yesterday was a sad day but I could not afford to keep 3 vehicles. It was a major loss in muchizmo yesterday trading my truck and SRT 8 in, talk about loosing some HP, WOW. I almost bought a new Mega cab but just couldnt find what I wanted, and truth be told it wouldnt be to practical for the family.
So I got a 2009 Tahoe Hybrid, (no soccer dad comments please ), and used the money on my trades for the down payment and to pay off my 08 wrangler unlimited. One of my best friends works at the dealership so I got a good deal but I still got raked over the coals on trade value for the truck. Luckily one of their buyers sells only lifted and aftermarket trucks so I did ok but still wasnt real happy. Anyway you guys have been alot of help and I wish you the best.

Sorry to hear you had to sell your rides.
You can always hang around and offer support to the other hybrid and CTD owners

Well when it came down to it I could not find a decked out to the max mega. Heck the last time I went truck shopping the larger dealers had 20+ to choose from but now they had 1 or 2 if any and most being gassers (darn economy). Then I called 2 dealers about ordering one and they acted as if I were from mars. And lastly when it came to the low mileage everyone has been talking about with the 6.7 vrs a loaded Hybrid Tahoe the way I wanted it really became a no brainer. Trust me I wanted the truck and my wife was ok with it but for our current situation the Taco is a much better fit. It sucks growing up and being responsible .

I agree! Should have kept the truck!

I would much rather have a used truck like you had than 2 brand new tahoes. In 100,000 miles, what do you have? A wore out tahoe.

If you just gotta have another truck and couldn't find what you wanted locally, you should have come to Texas and drove one back. Im sure there are plenty of choices around here for loaded Megacab trucks.

You should have posted here and let us talk you out of it before you did it.

..

MAN!! I had the perfect Mega for you!! It's in Texas now...

Well, you gotta do what you gotta do Ryan. The bad part is that you will start seeing nice Dodge Rams and saying to yourself "Man! I had one like that, only better" Eventually you will be driving another Ram diesel. That's just how it works....

Well, If you see the green machine running around make sure you honk.

Of course there's no reason to leave just because you sold the truck. We'd still love to see you around here. (So should we change your user title to "Tacos! Get your hy-brid tacos here!")

Sorry to hear the news, but, since you kept the Rubi, maybe I'll run into you wheeling the jeep at Gore or Rausch Creek.
