Buzzing from alternator area...
I have posted about this before, has anyone else got this problem yet? The dealer still has no idea, and a replacement oil filter bypass assembly is on order, i.e. the next best guess... It's only present when the motor is fully warmed up, and only around 12-1400 RPM's. Horrible loud buzz :-

I have this also, but only when coasting on the throttle or slowing down.
Was told it is "normal operations" as the tubro wastegate is releasing pressure.

So your's will not make the noise if you are just sitting there, running the RPM's up and down? As long as mine is up to temp, it will do it anytime the RPM's hit the "Buzz Zone" as it's been dubbed... : Doesn't matter if I'm moving, stopped, accelerating, decelerating, if it's raining, snowing, bright blue sky, or even if there is a clown making blow-up toys in the neighbors yard.

The TSB has the instructions. It sounds like you can see it without removing anything (I have not looked for one on mine so I can't confirm this).
