Wheatking

We are looking at a 1995 Ram 2500 Ext Cab 4x4 tomorrow (Sunday). It has approx 350,000kms on it. I would like to know what kind of things I should look for so we don't buy a lemon. I've never had a diesel before. Can you help me know what to look for?

IMO if you are not a lucky person or mechanically inclined, stay away. Just posting your question here is stating you really don't know what to look for, and without hands on experience, you may get burned. But if you are a gamblin man then by all means drive the truck, feel it out, give it the once over to pick up any obvious stuff, and for gawds sakes have a 3rd party (tech or shop you trust) check it over.
Well maintained it will last a long time. Poorly maintained you will be sinking major money into it. Best of luck.
