Where to buy 215 P7100 pump??

Looks like I need to bite the bullet and fork over some cash for a new IP. I am looking at Piers and Industrial Injection. I am going to pull it off today and want to send it out soon. I don't need anything modded or fancy just something I can drop my #11 plate and 3GSK in and be happy again... Anyone know of other places or the best $$$ around? I am in Boston if anyone knows local shops that can fix it. The govenor spring stud broke

Made a couple phone calls to Scheid and Piers

Piers WA.~$1400 ~week turn around
Sheid IN.~$1300 ~couple days

Either can set it up however I want, I.E. timing and keep my GSK and Plate. Scheid is closer to me (IN I'm in Boston) and I know they build a lot of power and tractor pulling pumps and I have heard nothing but good things about Piers. Anyone have any opinions on either or other places to call? i am going to head out and pull the pump so I would love to send it out today and hopefully have it back by next weekend... Unfortunatly i think i may end up selling my jet ski to cover this

Hey Zack, are you going to repair yours or buy a reman pump?
I think BD had a decent price on a 300hp pump. Otherwise theres plenty places that do em.
Getting one repaired isnt cheap though. Is this in regards to the bent governor spring stud?
Im going to be replacing mine with a built 160 or a 215 at some point in the future.
AFAIK, massdiesel wont do pump work, theyll send it to a local injection shop. But theyll R+R and re-time it for you.
He wont install someone elses stuff. Hes really adamant about installing stuff from vendors he trusts. You might be able to get him to install that BD pump but Im not sure.

I do not "think" Mass Diesel does pump rebuilding, although I PM'd Scott on the other site. Ya Mike this is due to the bent stud, I may as well send mine off that way they can set it at whatever I want and keep my #11 and 3KGSK kit in the pump. I have a line on another pump that is much cheaper but it isn't a Dodge Ram application but the seller says it should work on my truck, not sure if I should risk it though...

Any other opinions???

Id be careful of built-up marine pumps unless you know exactly whats in them. If this is the pump Im thinking of...
this pump failure might be a good opportunity to install a nice power upgrade

Ya but my clutch slips as it is... The BD 300hp is tempting ($1500), I could have them ship today and get it middle of next week, and send mine in for core today. I would be able to pull out and sell my #11 plate and 3KGSK springs from my pump as well to recover some of the cost.... Still so **** expensive

You can call Buddy at metro fuel in Hartford CT. My friend works at Cummins In CT and sends all there pump work to them. Says he can build it to do what you want. He dosent do performance work per-say, But if you tell him what you want, he can build it up.

Hey thanks!! They are 2 hours away and the cheapest price I have seen on pumps yet!! Plus they dont do the partial core charge refund BS like BD-Power was telling me! I will give Buddy a call Monday and see If I can bring my pump down and have them swap over my plate & GSK springs into a new pump! I could have my rig rolling in a couple days!!
