BullyDog Monitor with Quad Standard mod

My outlook monitor will only read the pyro and boost, nothing else. I checked with Tech support from both places about the way I hooked them up and both agreed that they are wired properly. The Quad module works great with or without the Outlook monitor. BullyDog Tech support had me to send the Outlook monitor and all cables etc. back to them where they tested it and said that the OBD cable needed replaced and they sent it back to me. I just reinstalled it tonight and guess what? The same problem as before. Does anyone else have this set up? If I have to take this thing out of my truck again, it's gone. I should have bought the Commander, I guess.

Something's wrong because the outlook hooks to the odb port so it should read everything????

I wonder if it could be something wrong with my truck, because they said they tested it before they sent it back to me.

Does the Outlook work without our module installed? I don't think anything we are doing should interfere? I think they might just be having issues?????

Sounds like our tech support gave you some incorrect info. The outlook on the 2003 gets all of it's diagnostic info from the data link plug in the engine compartment. That's the little three prong plug on the engine side of the harness. I would check to make sure that is plugged in.

I never tried the outlook by itself, but it is plugged in to the top of the engine which I would say is the map sensor. The Quad mod is plugged into the outlook then plugged into the wire that used to go to the top of engine(map sensor). The 3 prong engine diagonistics has the quad module plugged into it. Then I cut the plug off of the outlook and tapped those two wires into the quad harness that plugs into the engine diagonistics plug. I have checked and rechecked plus I've installed it twice. I'll check it again. Would the quadzilla module still work if it wasn't making positive contact with the three prong engine plug, because the quad works great? I know the outlook is connected good on those two wires at the quad 3 prong. Help!

The outlook is reading data from that plug. The two wires are can high and can low. If they are backwards it will not work. In that case (if they were backwards) I belive the quad module would still work. Also, I'm sure you've done this, but make sure you have the right truck selected on the outlook.

No that's not possible because there both programmers and one would overwrite the other.

Well, I checked again and it is not connected backwards and the propper truck is selected. What should I do now? Send it back again? I told Nick that the OBd cable was not bad the first time cause I checked it pin for pin with a meter. That's why I sent the entire unit back so they could check everything together.

Well, I messed around with this long enough..installing and removing, shipping and receiving. Called AutoAnything where I bought the Outlook Monitor and they are sending me a RMA so I can send it back. They are giving me a credit so I can buy the Quad Commander instead. It's probably around $10.00 more. Thanks everyone for the input though.
