got custom tune today from pdi and tryied to install and it says unknown vehicle i've never had the triple dog installed in my truck its brand new.

might be missing the last 4 digits of the VIN in the ECM.

Mine did the same thing. I did an update through their website and then it worked fine.

lol it mean that person thinks its vin number too.

mine did'nt want to install but after downloading updates everything was o.k. by the way had to have the updates e-mailed to me as its hit or miss trying to download from the web site- they're having big time problems since being hacked.
