Bully Triple dog vs. Smarty

Ok heres the deal, I ran bully dog's TRI-Before you buy and everything was fine. Well then I tried the tripple dog itself for an hour or so and then downloaded it back to stock and everything is still fine. I am going to try a smarty jr this weekend and was wondering if I should be cautious of it messing up my computer, not because of smarty or because of bullydog just because its two different programmers (not placing blame on either company) I have heard not to try a different programmer after running another one cause you could fry your computer. What do you guys think?

Ran the Triple Dog for a while, now I'm running Smarty Jr. No issues here.

That was mainly a problem back in the old days when bullydog mistakenly got ahold of some brazilian software, they have since gotten an excellent engineer and smarty also has killer engineer. Cant say for sure it wont happen but its highly unlikely but this electronic stuff is so finicky now days who knows. I would do it without any worries. Smarty and BD make killer products and have the tech. support to back them up. Smarty is definetly more power though we have tried numerous betas for each and I along with others will testify to the pure power and results of smarty.

I ran the Triple Dog and then decided to try a Diablo Predator. Ran it for a while and then went back to the Triple Dog. Sold the Triple Dog and went with a Smarty Jr. No troubles here either. I think you'll be fine.

Do you like the Smarty jr better than the Triple Dog? Does it pull harder than extreme on the BDTD

Like the Smarty Jr better, and it's been a while since I had the Triple Dog, but I'm pretty sure Jr is more powerful.

Agreed. The Triple Dog is nice, but the Smarty Jr feels more powerful. By the way, how does the Jr feel with the X2 on a stacker file PT?

I ran a Triple Dog w/CL before the Smarty came out, was ok, but switched to the Smarty for good after one track test and tune night.

Let's see started with Smarty Jr and then gotta have SR.
