I am still in the planning stages of a complete tranny upgrade. TC VB some billet, some clutches and a bunch of stuff I don't understand.

Question is; with a fully upgraded transmission, do I still have to, or want to continue to use +4, be it mopar or valvoline?

Valvoline ATF in the red bottle is Mercron/Dextron +3 and +4 rated...

It kinda covers it all. It is what I use.

How about that AMSOIL Universal one?

From what my DTT builder has told me, I can pretty much run the cheapest dextron3 mercon stuff you can find at the auto parts stores. I think the one I have in there was 2.99/quart..Side benefit of all those expensive tranny parts..However if you only mix/match trans parts ask an expert because it's different if you are only replacing a vb or something..
