Broken Dash......
OK, it's time to repair my dash. It's all cracked up and now I have several holes in it. If I use one of those hard caps, and I glue it to the old dash, will it hold up? Or do I need to replace the whole thing with a new OEM dash? I was looking at getting the dash cap from LMC Truck. Any insight on those or is there a better brand?

I saw a Hard Dash cap over the weekend that looked really good. If installed properly it can look good and not noticeable. A replacement dash from the dealer is still made out of the same crappy plastic as the stock one.

I had mine done at the dealer for $200.00. Do a google search there is a 800# for dodge cust service. they gave me a issue number. It seems that the resins in 2000-2001 dashes was wrong and caused severe cracking. It took my dealer a while to get a new one due to the reformulation but that was about a year ago. Your mileage may vary with the whole bailout bankruptcy bs going on.
