broke the dyno

today went over to redline with the video camera to dyno and see what's up. I got the stock run done it was 425 and 798, i say stock but i have ats tranny and injectors, then with the banks six gun speed loader on 3 he had a good run and it was it, no more the dyno didn't get the run i was a bit upset with that but i was more worried about his machine. I got the whole thing on tape and i'll have to go back next week to finish if his machine is repaired. Scotty at redline motorsports in ftc co. I was thinking of attaining 600 finally but i was shot down. I will be sure and video the rest of it and then see how hard it is to post it next week thanks

i guess the brake was stuck on and in order to get to the compressor the whole floor had to come up and it was just a mess. I hope to get the results soon. If he waits too long though i may have to install a propane injection in the meantime

So you are saying with the 100 hp injectors only (six gun off) you pulled 425HP/798 tq ? To go from around 260 RWHP stock to 425 hp RWHP on 100 hp injectors alone is completely unbelievable.
I remember your post a few months back. You were posting really high numbers for the six gun that were impossible. More of the same again.

Guys, with Big turbo, injectors and some boost fooling (even on off) from the six gun ... 425 is high yet not impossible. With tranny working well 240 at rears could easily be 270 hp. + 100 inj +40 turbo + 15 boost fooling ... yep possible K.S.

it's 100 hp injects and the ats triple lock locked out at 18mph and then all u have is the killer b 2 nothing else there so how much does someone in an auto actually lose if it's 325 and u are saying 250 or 260 so u lose sixty is that right, then u add 100 for injectors due to the fact they are rated at the rear wheel. So what is that 350 or 360 and then the only other thing is the turbo right. HOwever do i still lose the same amout as someone without the ats level 5 i shouldn't lose as much as them. I"ll post the video for u when it's finished don't worry. The rig is fast maybe it's not set for the elevation or something i'm not sure. but if a regular stock truck drops to 260 surely the locking out at 18 mph wouldn't be the same as someone without it right? So then what would it be? would i get 20 more or 30 maybe i don't know? If i did then it would be right at 280 or 290 before injectors which are 100 at the wheels right, then what's that 380 or 390, then i guess a bigger turbo with boost at 40 or very close too what would that give me just out of curiousity 20 more maybe could it be 30 more I'm not sure I don't think the numbers are that crazy at all though maybe there could be the elevation factor i'd have to ask the guy. I'm waiting ats to get the mustang dyno in the ground. I did dyno it there when i had a messed up turbo. I had a major problem with the surging turbo back then it was horrible and i had a cavitating fass pump. I had the cartridge replaced and that's good with the turbo and recently had the fass plumbed straight to the tank bypassing all those screens and little hoses inside the tank. I'll go to ats when they open i'm guessing that it's gonna be over 500 all the way up for sure. Now when i had the bad turbo and bad fass i still put 450 so i drive the truck all the time and it's a lot stronger now with the new cartidge and the fass work. I don't know but we shall see.

You gain horsepower if you have excess fuel that the stock turbo cannot provide enough air to burn, I gained roughly 30-40 hp with my B1 wastegated and I think that is pretty typical. However the major benefit is the temp reduction, I believe that mine was reduced about 350-400 degrees on a quarter mile run.

then again there is always the grand opening of the new ats building on the 12th of feb i believe or is it jan. Either way then there would be members of tdr and other sites so there wouldn't be any inaccuracies right?
