What brand of brakes?

I know this has been discussed many times, but I still need some opinions on what brand of brake pads and rotors to use. I have a 2004 Ram 4X4 3500 SRW. I tow a boat that is about 12,000 lbs. I have Duralasts Gold on it now and I'm not really happy with them. Lots of dust and squeaking. Just looking for some advice. Thanks.

I use Hawk, think I got them from Autoanything, yellow or green box, the ones for towing. They work pretty good, I tow a 5th wheel about 12k also.

Thanks, that's one of the brands I've been looking at.

I love my stockers and @ 37K they are like new. When the time comes,I'll get those again. Going through one of the discount Mopar parts sites reduces the cost quite a bit.

I think factory stock is the best, not the value line. Thats what I used.

I agree with 'Highway'. Factory stock works great. I replaced mine brakes only (no rotors) at 125K and they really didn't need it. The fronts were half worn and rears were even better.

Chalk another one up for stocks.. Mine did great, replaced them at 130,000 with still a little left on them. I put stock pads and new Brimbo rotors back on.

Can anyone suggest a on-line store for the stocks. I've been looking at a few and they seem to be about the same price on all of them.
