Question Brakes Hydraulic Pressure?

Does anyone know what pressure range the brakes develop in the lines when the brakes are applied?

Most hydraulic brake systems develop up to 2200 psi.

On my Ram the brake light switch is actuated by the pedal and not by hydraulics

Some of the really old 1951 Jeeps had a pressure switch for brakes.

I heard they started around 500 PSI (Not sure) Old man's tales of the good ol dayz!

The switch kinda looks like a oil pressure switch (dummy light)
