Brake upgrades
Has anyone done a brake upgrade? I remember seeing a couple of postings on different vendors that had Brake upgrade kits. I will need to replace my roters the next time I do a brake job, so I think that will would be the time to improve them.
Thanks!

Re:Brake upgrades
No dual piston or quad piston calipers? Actually I have seen that one before. I would think that one would get better stopping power with multiple pistons than one big one.

Re:Brake upgrades
that caliper is for the 1500 series trucks i dont think it fits the 2500 and bigger.
the number of pistons is not necessarily better its total surface area.
the ceramic pads were nice but i think there are better products out there if you are looking for stopping power.

Re:Brake upgrades
A lot of people in the northwest use this guy for brakes...may think about giving him a call for parts...

Re:Brake upgrades
I just upgraded my brakes to Benix Fleet Lok pads on the front and Benix Fleet Lok shoes in the back and what an improvement it was. The truck stops much better now, and it wasn't a 1/3 of what it cost for the EGR stuff. Money well spent I think.
