brake issues

I have a 94 2500 4x4, AT. Since I bought the truck last February, I have had an issue with an intermittent hard brake pedal. Also, every once in a blue moon, the brake light/abs light would come on. After 40 or 50 miles, it would go back out.
This past week, the lights came on, and have stayed on. I have checked the brakes themselves, and everything is in order. Today, I replaced the brake booster, to cure the hard pedal problem. That seems to be fixed. In that process, I could not get the brake lights to go off. I had to remove the bracket for the switch, and slot the hole enough to adjust it. I guess this rod doesn't return back quite as far. That works now. But, the brake/abs light is still on. I have replaced the rear abs sensor, but not the front ones- they are over $600. I did take them loose, and clean them of grime and stuff. Where should I look next? Start replacing abs components? Does anyone have any experience in this area? Any input that would help direct me would be awesome.

Disconnect the batteries overnight. The idiot light will more than likely not return.

I've found that to work on most 12 valves but on my '95s the only way to get the lights to go off even after any problems have been corrected is with a code reader or to wait for 50 engine on/off cycles.
My bet is '94 is the same.

I did disconnect the batteries, no dice. This morning, the lights were still on, and I noticed that the calipers were dragging. Light smell, rims were very warm. Eventually (about 20 miles later), the lights went out, and have stayed off. A friend with a shop is going to scan it Monday. I have ordered new calipers and pads. Even if that isn't the culprit, sticking calipers don't get better, and these have 171,000 miles on them, so I think it is money well spent. We will see.

Good time to flush your brake fluid also!

As much bleeding as I have had to do, there is no doubt that I have replaced all the brake fluid. Today, the calipers have been sticking. I replaced both calipers, and although I only driven it a short distance, I can not believe the difference in the feel. With the new booster and new calipers/pads, it feels totally different. It does brake well, and more positively. The next question is if I have solved my issues with the brake light/abs light. If that comes back on, it has to be in either the abs system, or the front wheel sensors.
