Brake Issues
Hello
I am trying to figure out these dodge brakes, I have replaced the calipers 4 months ago and today when i replaced my control arms i looked at my brake pads. and the inside pad on the passenger side is half wore downand the rest of them still look good and wore pretty even. if anyone has any ideas please let me know. thanks

Your passenger's side caliper is dragging. That is, the caliper is not releasing properly when you take your foot of the brake. This puts constant pressure on the inside pad causing it to drag against the rotor all the time. This causes the inner pad to wear down prematurely, as you discovered, and the rotor to build up excessive heat, potentially causing it to warp. I bet if you slam on the brakes that right side will lock up really fast and shoot you into the right lane.
A dragging caliper is caused by: 1) lack of lubrication in the hold down bolts causing them to freeze, 2) rust/crud build up on the hold down bolts, also causing them to freeze (this can be from a torn or missing rubber boot on the bolts), 3) a rubber brake line that has collapsed internally causing it to act like a check valve and maintain pressure on that caliper constantly.
You should check that caliper to see if it moves freely, if not then fix it or replace it. Replace the rubber brake line, if the caliper looked OK. Then replace the pads and turn the rotors.
When I replaced my calipers the same thing happened to me, I got a bad caliper which was dragging on the left side. Every time I did a firm stop, that side locked up. I replaced the caliper and problem solved. Good luck.

Check the caliper pins!
My 2 cents
Check the caliper pins and the rubber bushings.
Keep the pins well lubed and your brakes will work alot better for alot longer!
I used to lube mine every 1500 miles.
And thats in sunny Southern California..
When you remove the rubber bushings check for rust inside the caliper too.
You need to keep the calipers from dragging.
Check my photos in the readers rig section.
You'll see what I do to clean the calipers.
Oh yeah remember to clean and lube the spindle and the caliper where they come in contact with each other.
