Brake chatter, found the culprit.

My brakes have been chattering for a couple of weeks now. Finally got time to assess the damage. Kind of ugly. Smooth as glass now.

so they still salt the roads back there? Do they give you a kicker check for the reduced life of your cars? My 1985 VW is 100% rust free and we get 120" of rain here, If they ever tired to salt here every enviro eco freak green subaru driver would sue the goverment and burn down the shed holding the salt trucks and our stupid liberal state would just let them go and make a public statement saying they had it coming for salting the forest

Same thing happened to a Jeep Liberty at work, and the roads aren't salted around here.

That's what my right front rotor looked like when I changed mine out this year..I bought the truck in 2005 so who knows how long that had been on there.
