Be clean, be clean, pay close attention and take your time. I would put a plug kit in the oil pan if you don't have one. Have some extra tranny fluid incase you spill some.

All of my pressures were spot on before the mod kit, I have not had time to check them since-but you can feel the difference in the lockup and shifts.

If nobody has mentioned it yet...keep everything CLEAN . Also a digicam might be an invaluable tool when you run into one of those "wich way did it go"? scenarios . And don`t be in a hurry, haste WILL make waste (don`t ask me how i know )

As others have mentioned, BE CLEAN!!

If you're gonna use aerosol solvents (very handy with the valve body), Brake Kleen is the more cost effective. Figure at least four (4) cans.

The shifts can be tailored to what you want-from lightning quick and snap your neck, to just a little more firm than stock. You drill holes, different sizes will dictate shift quality, and there is usually a spring selection that lets you customize the shift points (RPM)
