Hi guys

Maybe I,m into the wrong list here ,but this seems to be the best place for my question.

I have a Isotta Fraschini ID38SS6V twin turbo diesel engine.
Its an Italian made marine engine with 2 Garrett turbo,s and 2 intercoolers water to air.
ist a V6 and its rated at 450 HP at 3300 rpm.
I don,t know so much about this engine,I was looking for how many litres it was but could find any ,I do have a spare cilinder head ,and found the bore is 5,5 inch.
Its using a Bosch inline diesel pump,don,t know the part number .
Its very large ,it seems to be larger than a pump on a 5,9 cummins.
Injectors are Italian made .

I want to use the engine for racing ,off course I want way more horsepower .
I was thinking about putting 4 turbo,s on it ,the stock ones that are on the engine now ,and a pair larger ones,the stockers do not have a waste gate ,as they are small.

Question is :

How can I supply the engine with more fuel to make more power ?
Can it be done at the dieselpump?or do I have to send the injectors somewhere to make them throw more fuel?
I will try to take a pic from the pump /injector tomorrow
and the engine too.

Holy crap, do you have a pic of this thing?

The Bosch pump should have the part #'s on a plate, check it out and post them up.

What kind of racing? Drag? Tractor pulls?

Tomorrow I will try to post some pics,the sparepump I have does not have the tag anymore ,the pump on the engine does have one ,but its very hard to read .
I will clean it up tomorrow and see whats shows up.
I want to put it in a boat and use it for boatracing(offshore)
Its a strange build engine ,exhaust is on top and intakes are left and right ,where the exhaust normally sits .
Pictur,s will show it.
I ,ve read a long time ago these engine,s would crank 900hp at 3300 at racing set up with larger turbo,s
That is what I,m after.
