Bosch 275's

I need some input from those who know about injectors. There are folks advertizing Bosch 275 hp inj's, for 98 to 02, saying they are set to give you 40% more hp. My truck is an 02 3500 HO(manufacturer claims 245 hp-right?). 40% of that is 98hp! Does anyone know how much these injectors will realistically increase the hp on my truck?

Re:Bosch 275's

All I know about these injectors right now is that they are going up in price at a crazy rate. Just bought one of the last sets from TST this week. Get them cheap while you can

About 35-40 HP on the ETC. Little more on the ETH.

Re:Bosch 275's

Have the RV275s on my 2001.5 HO. 1st put on the complete Banks setup and it made me ;D. Next added the 275's and they added alot especially to low end - and another ;D. So in answere to your question the RV275s really work. But pulled fuel pressure to -0- so new lift pump, pusher pump and Banjos.

(I have noticed that there are two types of RV275s. Those from Bosch with the Bosch # and then those from aftermarket suppliers that claim they are the same as RV275s. Don't know the difference - Just a heads up.)

However - to put in perspective you will probably want more ???.

I now have the TST PM3, Dodgezilla HX40/35 and the SBC con ofe clutch sitting in my shop waiting for time to install it and am waiting for my edm IIs.

Bombing really is a disease Now if we can just get the CDC to classify it and Blue Cross to pay for it!

Re:Bosch 275's

I know it's an addiction. All I have now is an EZ, should probably stick with that, but I'm afraid I'm already hooked, and feeling the need for more. Don't want to have to put a clutch init any time soon, but know I will if the sickness gets too big a hold on me.

i believe that has to be a misprint, somewhere along the way of everyone copying off eachother on evilbay.com, someone thought 40% instead of 40 horses

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33554

i would email them and ask if these are REBUILT or NEW, the ad says new, but who knows? also ask for the part number off the 275's, ive still got mine sitting if you want the part number off of them

i purchased a set of rv 275's off of evilbay.com about 11 months ago, ive yet to put them in because im afraid i will damage my lift pump, and then the rotary pump....

i want to get a pusher pump and banjos before i do the injectors just for peice of mind :-

Re:Bosch 275's

I know its been said before - but get gauges - pyro, boost and a fuel pressure gauge. Then at least you will know if you are not pushing enough fuel to your VP44.

Good luck!

Re:Bosch 275's

I think the injs that the "evilbay" link goes to are copies of Bosch. Don't think I'd dare go that route. The place I saw advertizing the "40% gain" claims to be a "4 star Bosch service dealer". Guess they want to sell to folks that don't do any homework. I have boost and pyro guages. Anyone know how much trouble it is to run an elec fuel guage to the little cubbyhole in the dash?
