S300 is the general name for the turbo, they can come in a wide variety of sizes, the BD super B (I believe it is a 57mm) or Super B special (a 64mm) are both S300 turbos, different sizes though. You can buy them new, or search the classifieds for a used one. First you need to figure out what size you want. There are many sizing options, so do some research with your hp goal and end use in mind.

if you are going to tow I would probably go with a 62mm, if not a 64mm like mine or even a 66mm will be nice and allow a bit of room to grow. Lots of companies sell S300 variants, they are not hard to find.

Are you trying to find out who used S300's in factory applications so that you can go to a bone yard and buy used? Or are you trying to figure out how to buy new S300's? Any vendor can get you a off the shelf S300 charger brand new. I've had several people request standard S300 chargers.

Yes I would like to go to the bone yard and see what I can dig up, I know any vendor can get one but I am just a pore dirty mechanic who would rather build than buy so any help would be great!! I was told these are a great fast spooling turbo that is very duriable.

call chris up at www.engineereddiesel.com very helpful and informative guy. He is currently seting me up with a 64mm with a Racecover/71mm exhaust wheel/12cm nonwastegated. I was surprised he suggested a non gated housing but he said the big wheel will still provide my top end flow yet spool lightening quick for a 64
