Blue Chip FMS

Anyone run the Blue Chip FMS box or drove a truck with one? If so, please PM, call, email, smoke signal, etc...

I want to know how well it performs and how user-friendly the settings are to use. I'm willing to sacrifice some max fueling for the ability to go from stock to full fuel in one button push.

Thanks!

I love mine, just like you said, I can be driving along with the truck stock and reach over and push one button for full fuel! Ive had just about every box on the market installed on my truck at one time or another, they've all come and gone, except for the old FMS, that one's not going anywhere... I love it.

Pretty simple to use, easy to hook up, and the gauges seem more accurate as they seem to sample faster than my edge. My FMS has a plain silver face on it, with no writing, instead of the newer blue anodized version. I got pulled over a few weeks ago, and the cop wanted to know "whats that silver box"? I told him it was to show me my fuel pressure and mpg, and he said he thought it was a radar jammer.

Its been the best mod on my truck, very very impressive, and BlueChip has been more than helpful in answering my many questions.

I'm waiting to see how this new Quadzilla Race box works out, but if I don't hear much good about it, I think the FMS is what I'm gonna go with.

GPSflyer hit the nail on the head. Chip is the best for customer service. He will talk to you for a long time to make sure you get what you want/need.

the fms box has lots of cool options:

-smoke control (normal, minimal, performance)
-fueling up to 63% extra
-shows boost, rpm, vp44 rate, egt, fueling
-you can customize what is displayed on the screen
-drag race mode (does not use boost to signal fueling)
-timing box control (I can control my xzt+ from the fms box)
-shows maximum values of boost, egt, and rpm

are guys getting as much power out of these as say, an edge juice w/attitude, or a tst pm3? and how is the fueling curve compared to the others?

I am running an FMS and it is the 5th or 6th fueling box I have had. I replaced an Edge drag comp. with the FMS. The power and adjustability is by far superior. Truck is scary fast now. And as already stated customer service is vastly superior with no comparison to any other company I have ever used. Really the only downside I see to Blue Chip boxes are their bulky dimensions and unsightly apperance. Easily offset by their performance though. And the looks are just my opinion.

I have had one for a few years. It is by far the most adjustable box out there. I can keep smoke to a minimum, and with the FMS, you can basically pull fuel out on the bottom to reduce smoke and help spool a big single. Chip's customer service is 2nd to none as others have stated. The FMS + a good timing box hits harder down low than anything else I have seen when set on kill. I haven't found anything out there that is in the same league with it yet.

box

Sounds like a good product, who sells it? I don't recall seeing the product at the usual sources.

Why not use a TST pm3 with no remote? It's either off or it's on-- at full power.

No?

Actually without the remote it runs as a pm2, like level 5-6 on the pm3.
