Blower only works on High

My blower for my air conditioner and heater only works when it is on the high setting.

I suspect that it is the blower resistor. It cost $51.00, and I plan on changing it out today to see if that is the problem. i will get back and let yall know.

key words for future searches: AC, heater, fan, control, panel, charge, power, troubleshoot, short, circuit

When you get it out, that little spring part is probably loose.

Some have fixed it (at least temporarily) by re-soldering it
back to it's post. I did this last week, and so far so good.
(of course didn't try this until after buying a new one, duh)

Pound on the dash board. Sometimes that helps with all sorts of problems!

"roof" of passenger footwell, next to blower motor, right next to firewall.

Couple small screws, wire connector. About 1" wide, 3" long.

Yep, lay on your back in the passenger floor board. Look up under the dash. You will see a large round object, prolly 8" in diameter. That is the blower. Right beside that is a pice that is put in there right beside it with a quick connect wiring harness going to it. It is held in by two phillips head screws. Unscrew it, and pull it out. I have been trying to get to this all wekk, and will finally get to do it this afternoon. Like previously stated, might only need a little soldering doen to fix it.
