How did you guess? I was worried that my subtlety would go undetected.

Yeah, I did see that. That sucks big time! Hopefully he got to enjoy it a little before that. How big of a fix is that? He said in the thread it was fixed though.

It's not hard to fix it with a plate if the transmission isn't in the truck. You can tilt the engine back with a jack and get to it from the back. It's hard to get to from the top unless you have skinny hands. (or your truck has a body lift)

Tomorrow my black beast should be done with everything but the speed eliminator. They say it wont work for an 06. I will take my laptop outside theres a camera on it and from a little help from you guys I will figure out how to download them. It should look sweet. The only thing is I drove it with just my edge on 5 not on hot and it had so much power but I think I should have gotten even bigger injectors. My DDP are 140HP but he said would make 170-180HP who knows. I will really be happy when I install my new PPE downloader. I sold my bully dog. Im missing 150HP atleast without my downloader so my first test drive was very impressive for just a 100HP tuner to say the least. My mechanic ordered this kit from cummins for my freeze plug but it does not work. He says he will still be done tomorrow gonna use his own plate. Well gotta go I will keep you guys posted. Thanks for alll the good advice I feel like I have other friends who care about getting me back on the road.

Can you get pic's of the plate he used to fix your freeze plug?? I would really like to see what it looks like, and I'm sure other 06 owners would too.

I dont know about that but if it does I will probably do that. I really want to get rid of the speed limiter. I will try to get pictures of the plate but Im 300 miles away from my truck. Its ready tomorrow engine wise and then its going across town for tires, spacers, shocks and a leveling kit. I think I will drive up and get her on friday. I might not be able to do the pictures because im not around the truck.

Pull fuse 13 and you will lose your speed limiter. You also lose your speedometer though. I pulled the fuse and put a fuse tap into both sides of fuse holder, run wires to both taps, installed a fuse holder to a toggle switch in the cab. So now when I race I run up to about 90mph then flip the toggle lose the speedo and run to 3500rpm in o/d. Post pictures on your freeze plug plate, I dont see how you could make one on a 06. Tim
