Talking bit the dust

guys the torqflite has bit the dust 11 inch crack all down the side of the case
really nasty bled a trail for about 30 yards then not enough power on the ground to get in my driveway. what would you recommend for a transmission
ats,BD, suncoast, goerend, other ?
i also noticed a speckled trail of oil down the side of my truck bed(passenger side) definetly coming out of the stack.
the old cummins is hard on my little ford HAHAHAHA

Well, only one thing you can do now, put a Goerend built 47RH behind the old Cummins.

As for the oil, check the turbo outlet first, should be wet with oil if its leaving oil down the bed. Then I would take the turbo off the manifold and look in both exhaust outlets, if they're dry then its the turbo, if there's oil in there, obliviously its coming from the engine.

what kind of electronics are needed to run the 47rh
sensors etc.
checked the turbo out no oil anywhere nor in the manifold do you think i could be on the verge of head gasket damage i just put pod's and and htb57 on the engine right before the tranny broke 43 psi was the max.
can that let oil drain into the cylinder if the head starts to lift
i think its stud and oring time.

2 switches to activate the 2 solenoids (1 for OD and 1 for Lockup) in the valve body would be the simplest way to do it or you could get fancy and use pressure switches like someone else here did.

Are you sure the speckles are oil and not carbon specks from water getting down the stack.

It could also be chunks of carbon that come out and splatter on the side of the truck.
I just go rid of my stacks and had my truck in my shop the other day and I went to sharpen a chain saw chain and noticed all this black dust where the exhaust would have sat. All these little chunks of carbon blew out when I started it.

How did your Goerend converter pull before you busted the case?

the torque converter is awesome
for goerends cheaper model torque converter it is definetly superior to the stock unit.
