Does anyone here have a Bio Diesel System that makes bio diesel? What system do you have if you have one, and what info do you have on it.
Which ones are your favorites?
I want to start producing bio diesel and want to learn more about it. I do not want to run a WVO system just bio diesel.

I have looked into the "kits" and they are all over priced for what they give you. Dig through this section of the forum and check out a few google searches and you can find plans for making your own and what material you need. A friend and I used to make it till our WVO source dried up. We made the kit our self. He has it as he spent the $250 for the part all together. I don't have the link for the plans any more or I would send it to you. The only expensive part was the motor for the pump system. I do recommend getting some of the testing kits so you can get the tritration right and good digital scale for measurements. We also took though several stages of filtration to ensure it was clean. We started with a 30 Micron F/W seperator and then Then to a 10 micron and finally to a 2 micron. If you plan to store it for very long try to find a place that doesn't deal with a lot of temparture swings as this can cause condensation to build up. We never could find a blend of addititves yet to use it below 40 degrees out side but was great in the summer.
