Bio-diesel in Alaska

Will bio-diesel work in Alaska? Is it to cold and not worth the money for the additives to make it work in the cold? Has anyone tried it in the Last Frontier?
Is there a different temp for bio-diesel when it starts to gel?

Bio gells ALOT sooner than Dino-Diesel Esspecially #1. Depending on where in AK youu are you might get away with it in the summer.

What additives are the best and cheapest to keep it from gelling?
