bilstein shocks
I have my new shocks, but by looking at the instructions, I am from the wrong country. What is the sequence of parts, spacer, washers, rubber bushings that go on top of the front shocks. I think the instructions stink.

i had the same problem about 3-4 months ago and ended up changing the fronts about 4 different times, before i called bilstein and got the proper way.
i think it was flat washer, bushing(male) with nipple(facing up) then i stuck the shock in the lower control arm and through the top mount, then spacer. i then put female bushing then washer then i tightened it with and allen head and open end wrench (metric).
hope this helps, BTW this is for my 01 2wd.
edit: i forgot this, the spacer goes in between the bushings
im going to rotate my tires today, so i will double check.

shocks
Thanks for the reply. I have them on and there is a world of difference. The original shocks were trash(75000 miles). I also put the male rubber bushing on the botton facing up. Works any way.

which is wrong, if you did it right it will only let you tighten it up so much.
glad you got it.

I got them from eshocks. Free shipping and also recieved a $10 off coupon on my first purchase. For the heavy duty shocks, it was $267 for all 4. Two rear shocks are easy to change. Front passenger side is a little problem. The drivers side will try your patience, but not too bad. Just pay attention to how the bushings and all were on the ones you remove.
