Bilstein 5100's??

Will the Bilstein 5100's fit on the front of a 4x4 with stock lift... I know they are listed for 1-2 in lift... The backs are listed for 0-2...
And are they worth the extra cost??
Thanks guys..
Bryan

Thumbs up

Bilstein 5100'S are definately worth the money, installed all 4 last week with D25 springs on the front to level, now the truck drives like a porshe and rides like a caddy, THEY ROCK! AJUSA $285 for 4 shipped to my door.

Dave.. that's where I've been looking at them.. and want the 5100's.. but afraid they might not fit because I'm still stock height... Where did you pickup the D25's??? I got a 03 adjustable Tbar and DSS to install at the same time...
Thanks,
Bryan

If I have to purchase the regular Bilsteins.. I'm going to have to paint them... Blue and yellow..

Thumbs up Bilstein 5100'S

Bryan, I search all the online retailers of the Bilsteins until I found the lowest two and then figured which one had free shipping and if the other was cheaper in price I ask for a price match and AJUSA came thru. The D25's I got thru offroad warehouse for $150 w/ free shipping. I searched around as well for them. Dont buy the OEM replacement Bilsteins as they dont seem to hold up as well for most from what I have read on a few forums. Maybe its the heavy front end. You will likE the DSS and 03 adjustable track bar as well, I have both and worth the money. Make sure you torque everything down. Inspect the hole on the track bar axle mount for oblong before install. If you get any popping on turns recheck the torque, my rtrack bar bolt was loose so I removed, cleaned the thread sand retorqued, no more popping. my 285's on factory alloys rub the mudflaps on turns so I will be getting longer control arms. Goodluck and enjoy the ride

Thanks Dave.. I've had the DSS, 03 TBar kit.. and Adjustable bar for about a year.. I got one of the first Adjustable bars.. I was in such a hurry to get it.. and now I've had it for a year.. and its still sitting in the corner...

Thanks for the info on the OEM replacements... I really don't want them.. I might just order the 5100's.. and see if they will work.. if not.. then I'll look into the springs...

I just replace my rears with 5100 and the ride is alittle harder until they break in. I'm happy with the front 5100s & D25 looks good and rides better

Thanks Mike... I decided to order them anyways... I figured most that only added 1-3in in the front never move the stops so they should work..
Good to hear they'll fit....
