the BIG turbos

what size are the HUGE singles that sled pullers use....and whats the biggest turbo you can try to spool on a 5.9 in a twins set-up

using nitrous or propane what could you spool?

my buddy has a big turbo off of a 12L v8 diesel generator and the compressor measures 82mm...what would it take to spool it?

i dont plan on doing this at all but i just wanna know if its possible and if so...how?

I am running a T70, newgen wastegate, T91 Thumper, and a Godzilla Blow off valve(for boost control). The T91 is HUGE and they make it all the way up to a T106. All Turbonetics stuff.

I suppose that means the firerings are holding? What's the general price range on the bigger Turbonetics stuff? $5-6k?

Actually the fire-rings did end up holding. Different truck. That truck has the motor out and we are TRYING to put an 05 motor in its place (2001). I had some BAD aftermarket valve springs fail (3 of them) and also had the valve springs lifting my valve seals(spring in spring design). To my surprise though my firerings were working beautifully.

The turbo's mentioned are on a 04 that we (Gunracer, Ed, and myself) put together here recently. We are controlling boost to 65 psi(target) with the blow off valve and wastegate configuration. That truck is just going to get head studs for now and hope the best with the MLS gasket.

The Turbonetics stuff ran me 1200, 495, 300.00 and 2500. That was at a dealer discount.
