Big tires?

Any body have an idea of how much rubber you can get away with under a 2006 dodge with 2" leveling pucks and 20's? It currently has 33's under it but I was wondering if you could put more. Thanks for the help.

I just put 275/65/20's under my stock height 06 3500 4x4 (lil over 34" tall)... so you ought to be able to get 35's with the pucks I'd say!

You could stuff 37" but you won't be able to turn to well. Even 35" will rub slightly.

I have some Goodyear Wrangler SR/A's in LT305/60R20 (34.6" OD) on some 20x9 Ultra # 214's.

The wheel offset has everything to do with what rubs and what does not.

The Ultra's I own have 5.75" backspacing and +18 mm offset.

My truck is stock suspensioned with no leveling kit.

Greg

Thanks for all the info guys. I was hoping for 35's or 37's, so here's the next question, what amount of lift will I need for 37's?

To run 37's you need either stock wheels or H2's or something with similar offset and backspacing and a leveling kit. To run a bigger rim like 20's and 37's you will need at least 6" of lift. Can it be done with less lift sure, but the offset and backspacing of the wheel and even the profile of the tire will come into effect.
