If your going to go twins in the future id go with maybe a 64 sized turbo, the BD Super B Special would be a good choice, then you could upgrade to their twin kit and have a pritty healthy set of twins.
Or if you dont wanna go that big, go with the Super B and then upgrade to their tow twins!
BD makes some really nice twins kits.

Studs probably wouldnt be a bad idea!!!

Just my $.02

The supre B is also used in the R700s.

If you went with BD, and got the Super B, you could upgrade later to the tow twins or the R700s. OR if you went with the Special you could upgrade to the R700s, or the R850s.

But either way at that elevation I would not go over a 64/71/13 unless you are fueled pretty hard. IMO the 13SS turbos are are great all around turbos. And it kinda give you some middle ground between the 12 and 14cm housings.

How much power you want to make? How big of twins you going to run later on? These questions need to be answered first before you try and pick turbos. You can make 500 out of a 62 easily. I don't see any injectors in your sig. If that is the case right now, i'd do a 62/65/13ss. Adding a S400 to this is a very nice combo. If you want a little more than that, put a S480 under the 62. The 6 speed trucks need a little tighter turbo compared to the autos, especially in elevation.

A super B on your truck right now would do nothing for you.

I don't know that a 64 (special) would be a great choice at 6000 feet. I Would think the super b would be great, or go for a stocker over s400.

A stocker over an S400 will support about 650. I think you will like the 62/65/13ss. It will work very well in a twin setup also.

I would say the Super B, Htt 62/71/13ss, or 64/65/13ss would be a good choice. Now that I have a 62/71/13ss I would probably do a 64/65/13ss instead. A guy above got the manual/auto suggetions backwards. The manual tranny truck is more forgiving in spoolup than an auto truck is. The auto trucks are much harder to make a proper choice for and the manual trucks are more forgiving due to more gears to use.

No always true.... A manual will not load a turbo in the lower gears as much, that is why you usually have to run a tighter turbo on them. The autos with a stock stall will spool faster. Stall is the key here. Looser stall will let you run bigger turbos. If you have a very tight converter, it will be like a manual. Been there....done it....

I'll offer a little different direction...

First, with DDP 90's you won't get to 700rwhp. 650-670 tops with perfect tuning and air and cam and other supporting mods.

With that in mind, the budget setup suggests stocker over s400.

If you got the $$$ and want the best, then a Garrett Stage 3 GT3088R over GT4202r or even GT4208r. The latter will provide enough for 700. The BB turbos spool a lot faster and behave much better in altitude than anything else I have tried. (disclaimer: I live at 4000' and regularly drive over 7-8000') That combo as twins will spool faster than your stock single alone.

Something in between as a compromise I'd say 62/65/13ss over s400.

Brian I know I dont have a manual but come drive my truck I bet you will love that garrett that I have... spools is almost as good as stock but cools my programming very nicely...
