Bhaf!
i would like one and i have i need to know where i can get one. and how to install it i have a list of part #s for them. but i would like to know if i can walk into advance or napa and get one any help would be much abliged.

Remove the stock airbox. The Bhaf slides on the intake tube. i just let it sit there on my 98.5. As for a heat sheild i would say no. I never had an issue with not having one.

You can get a Donaldson one from Vulcanperformance.com for $38 and some change. The heatshield isn't a must, but I made one anyways and painted it with high temp paint. I also cut a piece of old mudflap out that I got from work and laid it on my fender so that the filter didn't rub through the a/c line or the paint on my fender. Vulcan also has the Outerwears pre-filters for the BHAF too if your interested.

That's wierd, my EGT's went down almost 100 degrees at WOT, and that's with my 100hp injectors. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Just my 2 cents.

That's kinda the general consensus I had read before installing mine, so I was surprised to see them (egt's) go up instead of down.
