BHAF question

Is there anything special needed besides the mounting bracket(I found the plans for it) to mount the BHAF? Does the filter have a flange on it for clamping the hose to the turbo onto? And is the other end of the filter sealed off?

Re:BHAF question

It's not really a mounting bracket, more of a heat shield from the turbo. The BHAF it so big it can't go anywhere. The end is sealed off. It has a flange that the stock hose slips over. Uses the stock hose clamp. If you're making the heat shield, guys are cutting them out of cardboard first, getting them into the position they want, and then pushing them down on the stock airbox studs to mark the holes.

Re:BHAF question

I drilled two small holes for #6 sheet metal self tapping screws through the hose clamp, hose, and filter neck after finding the hose had slipped off - probably overtightened.
