Hey yall. Buddy of mine got an 03 SO auto. He's got straight pipe and no silencer ring and no intake baffle. He wants to run a BHAF but he has an electric plug on the upper portion of the air box. Kind of like a mass air meter. You guys running a BHAF, what did you do with this plug? Move it into the rubber intake hose? Thanks for the help yall.

On mine I just put the rubber boot over the end of the BHAF (It is a very tight fit) and then I drilled a hole right there where I connected the two. I think most people put it into the plastic tube somehow but it seems like it is too thin to me. If he pulls that sensor off he will see that it is maybe 3/8" or so deep with an O-ring on it to seal the hole. The two screws that hold it in place don't hold very well so I just put some long tie-wraps on it to hold it in place. It has worked well for the last few months with no problems. Mine is just zip tied to the side. The senor just measures intake air temp and barometric pressure. As long as its near the filter thats all that matters.
