Bfg ta ko psi

Hey there! Just bought a new set of BFG TA KO in 285/70/17 this past friday. What PSI does everyone recommend running in these tires? Mainly highway driving in Dallas. The truck is a 2007 2500 Megacab 4x4 with the 5.9. Thanks everyone.

I ran 60/50 when empty on my 285's, any more and the centers wore unevenly.

I'd like to put those on my truck - on stock wheels and 'E' rating, but everyone says the BFGs are associated with death wobble. Please let us know how they work out for you. Did they ballance out OK? How do they handle? What came off before these went on - better or ? Thanks.

I had 285/70/17 Michellin at/2's prior. Got 65k out of them and honestly i could have put another 15k on them. I was just ready for a new look on the truck. I have enjoyed these bfg's so far. Balanced very well and the load range E is a must. The truck looks great. I haven't had any signs of the DW.

I run 55 psi front and rear on mine. At 65 psi they are like a rock and give a horrible ride.

On my second set now and got 44K out of the last set!

That must be from the 18" rims. At 55 psi I feel like I am going to blow a bead in a corner above 40 mph.

^^ 285-70-17 in "D" rated here.

I run 65 in the front, 50-55 in the rear. if you run the rear over 55 pounds the middle will get it.
