I'm running a XZT+ and a Xzillaraider together. I really like it. My truck down-right RIPS. I haven't put it on a dyno yet, but I'm hopeing to do so this coming month.

No the Xzillaraider isn't a timing box. It's a fuel box only. The only connections are; the VP-44 wire tap; the throttle position wire tap; MAP sensor plugs (into & out of); fused power and ground.
I also had a few questions, but Quad himself says they will NOT harm anything (besides what damage power can cause) and he said that they run great together.
I also thought, at one time, thought the Banks Ottimind was a timing/fuel box. Come to find out, it's a fuel only box. There has been a few sucessful stacks using the Banks Ottimind on top of the XZT+ from guys here on DTR.

I think when I bought my truck the guy had a superchips downloaded on it at one time, when he took it off would it leave the timming advance on there, I went and had my dealer do theecm reflash and now it seems that the motor is not near as loud as it was before and seems to be slower and I have also lost about 1.5 gal/mile?????????

I believe the Superchips downloader does timing also. So it and the XZT+ wouldn't be a good stack. I would think you'd end up with too much timing and possible damage. Maybe I'm wrong.......

I'm going to be trying a friends XZT+ with my TST COMP model to see if I like that stack as well as the EZ/TST we are also planning on trying some of the different downloads to see if they make a difference.

Hey 9 sec camaro - I think I know how to solve your issue. The problem/issue I had with the Banks is that it is not adjustable or even able to be turned off. Put a on/switch on the wire going to the pump wire tap. If I remember correctly, it should be the yellow one???? Any ways, by putting the switch on, you can now either turn the Banks fueling capibilities off or on on-the-fly and it will not effect the gauges.

I have several people testing a file right now that changes when the timing is advanced. I think in some cases we are too aggressive with how soon we start advancing the timing. This really shows up with the Mach 5 or 6 injectors or bigger.
It does seem the jammer guys have this same issue with smaller injectors. It makes me think that they might be drippy at low pressures. What I think is happening is that the additional fuel gets in too early with too little air and causes it to sort of put the fire out. I don't think its major but, I do think it could cause a stumble miss or shudder. I will let you know the results ASAP. If that is true we will have some reduced or changed timing options up on the website.
