I sent you a PM of a guy I am good friends with in that area that works out of his house. There really isn't any shops in College Station I would trust. There is Chops, but there are so over priced its not even funny.

I agree. I know a few guys that like to do stuff in their driveway but I don't know of any shops worth going to. I've been to that place on Hwy 30 that is a 4x4/RV shop but they are ridiculusly priced as well.

Why we are on the College Station topic, some place on S College has a radio advertisement for a "diesel performance" shop. Is that the tint shop near Villa Maria and S College?

Chops is that RV place. Choppie is the owner. I don't know of any diesel performance places except for Dinos, I think that is the name. Lance at Creative Audio next to the Chicken Oil off S. College used to do lifts.

"Dino's" doesn't have a shop. He only sells parts.

I see....i obviously forgot the name to Chops.

Maybe thats the "diesel performance" place on S College

Go with 6" and 37s, always go bigger the first time around, cost you much less in the long run. I would stay away from Kevin at B&C, and definitely stay away from 4Wheel Parts. Take 3 Truck and Trailer I have never done business with or know anyone who has. Have you looked into KORE? They are the Cadillac of suspension lifts for Dodges. The quaility is top notch.

i have many friends who have gone through this cat for suspension work. i plan on installing a 6" superlift longarm, and 3" body lift through him.

Just don't expect him to EVER know your name. I've bought so much from him and he still doesn't remember me. Does good work for a young guy though.

You'll need gears if you tow, if not then I wouldn't worry about it.
